Meet The Jamtgaard Family
Since 1928 Wildwood Resort on Bass Lake has been a favorite destination for vacationing families and fishermen. Owners Jay & Kim Jamtgaard purchased the resort in 1999 and moved here from Southern Minnesota where they managed a Pizza Ranch Restaurant in Jackson.
Prior to that, Jay worked in the retail grocery business as a store manager for Nash Finch Company, and Kim worked in the human resources management field.
Kim & Jay sincerely love the resort life they’ve chosen and are grateful they can raise their two daughters in this beautiful environment.
As for their Resort Business Philosophy, Kim describes it this way:
“We operate Wildwood with the goal of treating our guests exactly as we would want to be treated. We appreciate their business and strive to give them the best value for their vacation dollar. We work hard to build and maintain comfortable, well-appointed cabins and clean, beautiful grounds. And we always promote a family-friendly atmosphere.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure guests enjoy a fun and relaxing vacation that makes them want to return to Wildwood year after year.”
