Spring Fishing on Bass Lake
Nothing says “spring” like the Minnesota Walleye Fishing Opener. After the long Minnesota winter, open water fishing season is celebrated like a holiday! Bass Lake is a beautiful, clear lake and offers first-rate Minnesota fishing for panfish, walleye, northern, and largemouth bass. The bluegill population in Bass Lake is so healthy that the DNR has placed a special limit of 5 fish per person. It’s not unusual to see one measuring 11 inches. The Minnesota walleye fishing and northern fishing is also outstanding in the early season. And best of all Bass Lake offers anglers great fishing without the large number of boats found on other area lakes.
